My works are a visual diary of my ongoing journey of self discovery. Family and culture play a vital role, as I want to make my family proud and take care of them, but still make time for myself and think about what I want. Love, depression, and hoping for something better are themes that are found repeatedly within my work. My work evokes a nostalgia for home, safety, and comfort, but also expresses a desire to know myself outside of those spaces as well.   Identifying as chicana is a large part of my practice and I use symbolism; such as clothes and roses, to represent my culture and further how personal my art becomes. In those stolen moments of freedom, sitting next to my mirror, I transcend the confines of daily life. This artistic journey is about more than sculpting, performing, or illustrating—it's about sculpting a space for myself within the chaos. Like a butterfly, I can momentarily break free from the cage of responsibilities and savor the simple joy of existence.

About Me

I'm an emerging artist navigating the intersection of personal growth and artistic expression. Drawing inspiration from daily life, my work spans performance, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, and illustrations. Each medium reflects a facet of my ongoing quest for balance and self-discovery.

From conquering the anxieties of commuting to crafting sculptures and engaging in diverse artistic expressions, my art is a tangible exploration of independence within familial responsibilities. In this intricate web of commitments, each artwork becomes an artifact of my journey.

This artistic odyssey is about sculpting a space within chaos—where, like a butterfly, I momentarily break free from responsibilities and savor the joy of existence.
